Savannah Indivisible, formerly Coastal Georgia for Democracy, is a progressive organization that sees a future of policy over partisanship, communal respect over culture wars, universal prosperity over income inequality. We are independent, inclusive, and action-oriented. We are Coastal Georgia.
We are dedicated to Coastal Georgia
Savannah Indivisible works for a Georgia where everyone shares in the abundance of our great state. We promote candidates, policies, and organizations that defend constitutional rights, advance civic equality, and open economic opportunities for all people in Georgia Congressional District 1, from Chatham County to Charlton County.
In 2026, we will:
Resist
We resist fascism by rallying, marching, protesting, and mobilizing against corrupt authoritarian overreach. We will resist the erosion of voting rights, the bigoted agenda to erase minorities and the LGBTQIA+ community, and the decimation of living wages, affordable housing, and accessible healthcare.
Reclaim
We reclaim political power by helping to elect progressive candidates. We host candidate forums, run voter education campaigns, and operate voter engagement programs to inspire our community to vote for change. We reclaim the very idea of freedom — true freedom — as an equal standard for all people.
Renew
We work to renew the community of our city, county, and state. We support mutual aid programs, stand up for vulnerable constituencies, and advocate for bold civic policies. We work to rebuild broken political systems and push for investments in social programs, education, and infrastructure.
Upcoming
1:00 PM – 3:00 PM @ Madison Square
Join us to protest and march against the ongoing authoritarian overreach and fascist moves by the Trump regime. We’re demanding for ICE to stop their racist agenda of domestic terrorism, saying “no” to foreign wars that bleed the country dry while filling the pockets of war profiteers, and a halt to the corrupt, billionaire-first agenda that leaves everyday Americans with more expensive food, restricted healthcare, and scarce housing.
